Brew/Fair is a community organization with the goal of creating a cooperative grocery store in the Brewerytown and Fairmount neighborhoods of Philadelphia. While still in a start-up phase, they needed a professional website to attract attention to their movement, build a contact list, and give prospective members an easy way to sign up.

We designed a site that highlighted the neighborhoods they were hoping to attract and informed the community about both their plans and the co-op model. They had a domain in mind, brewfair.org, so we secured that as well as hosting.
All roads lead to the sign-up form, which was the main point of the site. Brew/Fair is focused on community engagement, with the hopes of leveraging a robust listserv to attract members and doners in the future.
Trust and education were paramount in this endeavor. Brew/Fair is rooted in the community and knows that, while many potential members would love to have a food co-op in their neighborhood, a significant portion of the community doesn't know what that means. Education became the touchstone of this project to help inform a community of what it takes to source fresh, local produce.
